Linear
Each active Linear issue gets one comment listing the decisions behind it.
Connect in one click
An admin runs:
$ glad linear connect Opening Linear to add glad to your workspace. If it doesn't open, go to: https://linear.app/oauth/authorize?client_id=...&state=... Press Authorize. Waiting for Linear... (this link works for 10 minutes) ✓ glad is in Kenneth's Linear
Comments are posted by the GLAD app. If your team runs GLAD on-premise and it can’t reach our servers, connect with a Linear API key instead:
$ glad linear connect --key-file linear-key
Matching branches
GLAD reads the ticket from the branch name. Decisions made on vladimir/eng-123-account-deletion go to ENG-123. A branch with no ticket in its name sends nothing to Linear.
The comment
One per active issue, rewritten as decisions change.
glad: decisions made for this issue in acme/api 3 decisions: 2 in force, 1 replaced, 0 withdrawn, 1 clash users / account deletion - erase personal data within 30 days - Vladimir - replaced "hard-delete on request" (Vladimir) - clashes with "keep dispute records 7 years" (Logan, ENG-131) - revoke sessions on deletion - Vladimir's agent, build later - depends on "erase personal data within 30 days" - hard-delete on request - Vladimir, replaced
build later marks a decision you made and asked to have built later.
Raise a clash
Press Raise in Linear on a clash between two people, in the graph page or in its Slack post. GLAD creates one ticket with both decisions and their code.
What GLAD never does
Apart from a clash you raise, GLAD never creates issues, never moves or closes your existing ones, and never reads their contents.
