Files GLAD writes

Every file GLAD writes, and where.

In your harness’s own settings

glad arm writes three files per harness, once, merged into what’s already there: every clone and worktree of an armed repository runs GLAD, and every other folder runs nothing of it. GLAD writes nothing inside your checkout. glad disarm takes out exactly what GLAD wrote once no repository is left armed for that harness.

On your machine

In ~/.glad/:

credentials.json	This machine’s login.
armed-repositories.json	The repositories you armed, the harnesses each is armed for and the service it uses, and what your harness files held before GLAD first wrote into them.
identity.jsonl	People, teams and admins. Append-only.
trusted-certificates.json	Team servers’ certificates you confirmed by fingerprint in `glad doctor`, `glad login --service` or `glad arm --service`.
linear.json	The Linear connection `glad linear connect` made, readable only by you.
linear-api-key	The Linear key, if you saved one there.
typesafe-api-key	The judge key GLAD's login fetched, readable only by you.
github-sign-in.json	The GitHub sign-in a login keeps, so `glad doctor` can fetch the judge key again. Readable only by you.

Per repository

In ~/.glad/<repo-id>/, where <repo-id> is worked out from the repository’s origin, so every clone shares one:

log.jsonl	The decision record.
log.jsonl.rejected	A partial write left by a crash, moved out of the record.
log.jsonl.backup-<time>	A full copy of the record `glad doctor` makes before it sets a line aside.
service.log	What the GLAD service printed as it started and ran.
service.json, owner.json	The GLAD service running for this repository.
armed.json	Checkouts where `glad arm` was run.
settings.json	Settings from the last `glad serve` start.
admin-key	Secret used once, to create the team and name its first admin.
tap/	Calls queued while GLAD is unreachable, and unfinished work.
