Commands

All of GLAD’s commands.

Flags most commands take

--service <url>Team service URL. Omit for the local service.
--graph-dir <dir>Graph folder. Default ~/.glad/<repo-id>/.
--jsonJSON output. decisions, doctor.

<repo-path> is a checkout on this machine, and <repository> a checkout or its origin URL. In brackets, either defaults to the folder you’re in.

On your machine

glad login

glad login [<repo-path>] [--key <key>] [--service <url>] [--graph-dir <dir>]

Authenticates via GitHub device flow or an admin-issued key; stores this machine’s signing credential. Locally, also starts the service.

--key <key>Use a key from glad admin key.

glad logout

glad logout [<repo-path>] [--service <url>] [--graph-dir <dir>]

Deletes and revokes this machine’s credential. Records stay.

glad arm

glad arm [<repo-path>] [--harness claude-code|codex] [--service <url>] [--graph-dir <dir>]

Writes hooks, MCP server and skill into your own harness settings; starts the service if needed. Once per repository: every clone and worktree of it runs GLAD, and no other folder does.

--harnessclaude-code (default) or codex. Both may be armed.

glad disarm

glad disarm [<repo-path>] [--graph-dir <dir>]

Turns GLAD off for every folder of the repository, and removes what arm wrote once no repository is left armed. An arm-started service stops with it.

glad open

glad open [<repo-path>] [--service <url>] [--graph-dir <dir>] [--no-browser]

Opens your decision graph in the browser, signed in as you. Remote team services: https only.

--no-browserPrint a one-use link, valid 1 minute.

glad decisions

glad decisions [<repo-path>] [--graph-dir <dir>] [--service <url>] [--json]

Decisions in force: who, which prompt, branch status, code, what it replaced, open contradictions.

glad flags

glad flags [<repo-path>] [--graph-dir <dir>] [--service <url>]

Undecided changes, newest first.

glad flags dismiss <flag id> [<repo-path>] [--service <url>] [--graph-dir <dir>]

Closes a flag that sets no rule, recorded as you with the time. Writes no decision.

glad doctor

glad doctor [<repository>] [--service <url>] [--graph-dir <dir>] [--json]

Checks your whole setup and fixes what it can on the spot. Run it whenever something seems off.

  • One line per check: ✓ passed, ✗ failed with the cause and the fix.
  • Its repairs never lose data, can always be undone, and touch only your setup.
  • Exits 1 while a problem remains.
  • Given an origin URL with no local checkout, checks the machine that runs the team’s service, or with --service <url> that service from any other machine.

Running a team’s shared GLAD

glad serve

glad serve <repository> [--graph-dir <dir>] [--port <n>] [--listen <addr>] [--tls-cert <file> --tls-key <file>]

Runs a shared service in the foreground. No checkout needed: pass the origin URL.
